AYNI KAWSAY
Immersive pilgrimage into the heart of ancient wisdom
APRIL 11 - 22, 2026
Step into a sacred journey of remembrance, healing, and deep spiritual activation in the heart of Peru’s Sacred Valley. This journey is more than travel—it is a sacred return to who you truly are. Guided by the wisdom of the land, ceremony, and intentional practices, this retreat is designed to help you remember your truth, reconnect with your innate gifts, and reclaim the parts of yourself that may have been forgotten or silenced.
Through connection with the Earth, ancestral medicine, and supportive community, you'll awaken the clarity, creativity, and inner knowing that has always lived within you—ready to be embodied, expressed, and honored.
Over 12 days, you’ll walk ancient paths, receive wisdom from ancestral lineages, and reconnect with your true essence through powerful ceremony, nature immersion, and intentional community.
This immersive experience includes guided visits to sacred sites such as Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and ancient Incan temples. You’ll be held in the safety and tradition of plant medicine ceremonies led by respected Shipibo maestros, offering a path toward deep inner transformation and connection with the divine.
Daily yoga, somatic practices, and integration circles will support your body, mind, and spirit, helping you ground insights and awaken your fullest expression. This journey is both a pilgrimage and a homecoming—an opportunity to release what no longer serves you, remember who you truly are, and flourish in sacred connection with the Earth and the wisdom of the Andes.

Day 1
Arrival & Journey to the Sacred Valley
Group airport transportation departs Cusco Airport at 11:30 AM for our retreat home at Melissa Wasi in Pisac. Settle in, rest, and acclimate to the altitude. The afternoon is yours to relax, explore the land, and begin connecting with the sacred energy of the valley.
-
Day 2
Andean Cleansing Ritual
Begin the day with a powerful physical and energetic cleansing ritual led by a Q’ero master. Through a sacred plant bath, incense, and coca leaf offering, we’ll release stagnant energy, restore balance, and set clear intentions for the journey ahead.
-
Day 3
Sacred Valley Exploration
Discover the ancient magic of the Sacred Valley with visits to the Maras Salt Mines, the innovative circular terraces of Moray, and the powerful Incan town of Ollantaytambo. Each site offers a unique connection to ancestral wisdom, natural cycles, and the living spirit of the Andes.
-
Day 4
Machu Picchu Pilgrimage
We journey to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu. After a scenic train ride and short bus ascent, we enter this sacred site with reverence, guided through its ancient paths by a local expert. Following our visit, we enjoy lunch in Aguas Calientes, then return by train and private transport to our retreat home in the Sacred Valley.
-
Day 5
Karpay Initiation at Kinsa Kocha
Travel to the sacred high-altitude lake of Kinsa Kocha, where the stillness of the mountains sets the stage for a powerful Karpay Initiation—an ancient Andean energy transmission from the Apus and Pachamama. This heart-opening ceremony deepens your connection to nature and the sacred path. Afterward, we return to the valley for rest and reflection.
-
Day 6
Rest, Creativity & Evening Ceremony
Enjoy a free morning for rest, reflection, or optional pottery-making with local artisans. This quiet space is intended for setting intentions and grounding before the evening ceremony.
At night, we gather in a sacred space where Shipibo maestros guide us through a deeply transformative ceremony. With their healing icaros (sacred songs), they help us navigate the inner realms, opening the door to insight, connection, and profound healing.
-
Day 7
Integration & Evening Ceremony
Spend the morning in quiet reflection, journaling, or rest as you prepare for the evening ceremony. This space invites you to deepen your intentions and gently open to the next layer of your journey.
In the evening, we return to the ceremonial space, where Shipibo maestros once again guide us with their sacred songs and ancestral wisdom—supporting a deeper unfolding of healing, clarity, and spiritual connection.
-
Day 8
Integration & Free Day
The day is yours to rest, reflect, and integrate the experiences of the past days. Enjoy the peace of the Sacred Valley, explore the local area, or connect with others in quiet conversation. Optional 1:1 support, yoga and body work sessions may be available. This spacious day is devoted to grounding and honoring your inner process.
-
Day 9
Rainbow Mountain Pilgrimage
We depart early for a scenic drive through the Andean highlands, arriving at the trailhead at 4,630 meters (15,193 ft). From there, we hike to the stunning Rainbow Mountain at 5,040 meters (16,404 ft), with views of the powerful Apu Ausangate in the distance.
At the summit, take time to connect with the spirit of the land and honor this sacred landscape. After descending, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Pisac.
-
Day 10
Morning Practice & Group Integration
We begin the day with a gentle morning practice to ground and reconnect with the body. Later, we gather for a group integration session to share reflections and support one another in processing the deep experiences of our journey.
The rest of the day is free for rest, quiet exploration, or optional 1:1 support, yoga, or bodywork sessions. This spacious day is dedicated to honoring your inner process and fully integrating the transformation you’ve received.
-
Day 11
Sacred Valley Immersion
We will journey to the Quechua village of Willoq Alto, located at 3,750 meters (approximately 12,300 feet) ASL, in the heart of the Andes. In Willoq Alto, daily life follows the rhythm of the land and the seasons. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in traditional activities and witness how the Andean worldview is expressed in everyday life. We’ll also learn about the ancient textile traditions passed down through generations. By midday, we are welcomed to share a Pachamanca, a traditional Andean meal cooked beneath the earth with hot stones. This sacred preparation brings together the gifts of the land. Eating Pachamanca is not just nourishment, it is an offering to Pachamama and a celebration of the abundance she provides. After this experience, we return home.
